Guiness von Santa Barbara is a handsome 5 year old X-Large German Shepherd. He was being pushed into the overnight drop kennel at the shelter by his owner when one of the workers came by. The owner said he no longer had the time to care for Guiness and didn't want him anymore. His loss is our gain. Guiness is very large and weighs 140 lbs, has the straighter back and strong physique of the German bred shepherds. But don't let his size fool you, he is such a nice, mellow dog, he gets along well with other dogs, is an excellent passenger in the car and fully enjoyed munching on his freedom burger on his way to our boarding. He takes treats gently from your hand and is housebroken. He had his first cat test, and he only showed a slight interest in the cats. If you're looking for a huge shepherd with a sweet temperament, Guiness is ready for his forever family.
